Recommended Uses

For interior use on a variety of substrates including open, closed urethanes spray foam and masonry surfaces A holiday free film and a minimum film thickness of 25 mils DFT is required to achieve the permeability requirements of less than 1 US. Perm. For cut foam apply a single pass tack coat, allow 30 minutes flash time followed by full coat at recommeded film build to ensure a reduce pinholing.

Description

Towerthon Polyurethane Foam Vapor barrier is a high solids water-based formulation for use on open or closed cell urethane spray foam insulation. This thick film, barrier coating possess excellent elongation and bridging properties making this product easily applied to variable surface profiles. When applied to a holiday free film this product has low moisture permeability and conforms with NRC and IRC building code for use as Vapor Barrier Material. This waterbased Ultra Low VOC product is low odor and does not pose flammability risks as other solvent based barrier systems.
