ClovaTherm: Heat Resistant Silicone
This product is for use on steel surfaces where excellent heat resisting performance is required. ClovaTherm is an excellent alternative to conventional high heat coatings that require a heat cure and are subject to mechanical damage and weathering. See your Cloverdale Paint Technical Representative for recommendations for your project.
83220 ClovaTherm is a two-component, state-of-the-art silicone coating that can be subjected to temperatures up to 420oC (790oF) without the need for a heat cure. It has been formulated to be either self-priming as a topcoat finish, or as a base coat for 83225 Aluminum or 83224 Black ClovaTherm Hi Heat Resistant Enamel where increased corrosion resistance is required. ClovaTherm Zinc is supplied as 9 parts 83220A liquid base component and 1 part 83220B dry zinc dust in separate containers.
