Priming

Wood: after appropriate surface prep, spot prime all filled and patched areas; use Cloverdale Paint’s Alkyd Enamel Undercoat 15100 for a smooth finish, or Acrylic Latex Primer/Undercoat 05130 for easier clean-up.  For a fast drying primer use Acrylic Speed Primer 05910.

Drywall/Masonry: after appropriate surface prep, spot prime all filled and patched areas; use Cloverdale Paint’s Latex Hi Hide Drywall Sealer for drywall or masonry.  For masonry you may also use Acrylic Speed Primer 05910.

Metal: after appropriate surface prep, spot prime all filled and patched areas; use Cloverdale Paint’s Enamel Rustex Primer 15107 for corrosion resistance or for galvanized surfaces use Acrylic Speed Primer 05910.

Glass/Plastic/Millwork: after appropriate surface prep, spot prime all filled and patched areas; use Cloverdale Paint’s Acrylic Speed Primer 05910.

Patched Areas: use Cloverdale Paint’s Latex Hi Hide Drywall Sealer.

Stained Areas: after appropriate surface prep, use Cloverdale Paint’s Smoke Stop to seal out smoke stains.

*NOTE, always check with your Cloverdale Paint store for recommendations.
