We are searching for a part-time, possibly Co-Op Student to join the Marketing department to assist with development and implementation of internal (intra/extranet) and external (market-facing) web-based projects.
The work will involve sourcing and organizing the format of the site, creative design & layout, designing interactive forms and ongoing maintenance.
The successful individual will be creative and experienced with a variety of interactive media software and will work with marketing, Graphic Designer and MIS to develop and document project requirements.
This experienced programmer will be studying towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science and will be able to develop project architecture and determine hardware and software requirements where required.
Technical Requirements will include experience with Adobe products,
including Dreamweaver, Contribute, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop. Strong working knowledge and experience with HTML, Java, XML, .asp, SQL database connectivity. In addition, experience with MSWindow platform – both Server environment and MSAccess and Excel is required.
This part time position, 10+ hours per week, will work throughout the summer as needed and into the fall as the work load dictates. This could lead into a more permanent position.
